Here’s a couple ideas on how to personalize your signature wedding.
A Ravishing Reception
Tie escort cards to tree branches. This is the ultimate in impressing your wedding guests. If there’s lots of time and help before your wedding think about how this would look at your venue. Simply beautiful!

A Spirited Cocktail Hour
Let the season guide your choice of drinks: We suggest spiked pink lemonade for spring, mint or lime punch for summer, caramel-apple fizzes for fall, and martinis — extra olives, please — in the winter. Whatever you come up with, you should always consider a signature drink for your wedding. It cuts down on the bar bill and is always a crowd pleaser.
Dress doors and entrances with flower garlands and fabric swags. This makes a very impressive entryway for a romantic themed wedding. You can even match your wedding colors to the entrance with beautiful garlands of flowers or greenery.
Creative "I Dos"
For a romantic atmosphere, project slow-moving images — think flowing water or clouds — onto a sleek fabric chuppah, wedding arch, or aisle runner. I happen to know a local vendor who can make this come alive. Contact me to get more information.
For a picture-perfect memory, place your guest book on a table beside a rented photo booth. Guests can paste their snapshot in your book along with their good wishes for your future. Also, photo booths can provide great entertainment for your guests.

For a save-the-date card with a difference, send a playful photo-booth strip of yourself and your groom, holding up a hand-lettered, decorated cardboard sign that announces the big news. You might take your picture at the memorable place where you met or some place that is extra special to you.
Party Favors to Remember
A perennial favor choice, the chocolate truffle, looks fabulous in individual boxes gift-wrapped in your wedding colors and finished off with a mini bow. This is a great way to get chocolate to your guests, especially the women.
Cakes & Desserts
Having a small cake at each table is a popular idea, but always request a larger version for the ceremonial cutting. This is the upcoming trend, but having a dessert table is still common. Remember, you are the boss!
Calling All Dog Lovers
"The puppy has to have flowers!" stated by a man named George. If you can talk “man’s best friend” into sporting a fluffy floral collars, go for it. This make awesome wedding day pictures and warms the hearts of all the canine lovers attending the wedding.

Hitching a Ride
Guest transportation can be unexpectedly fun. Think: an old yellow school bus or a London-style double-decker. This is the wedding couple’s day! But keep in mind that you are spending this wonderful time with family and your best friends. Why not have some fun during the excursion.
